Features
The Belimo SR24A-SR actuator is a versatile and reliable option for control systems. It operates on a nominal voltage of AC 24V and DC 24V, with a power supply range of 19.2-28.8V. In operation, it consumes 2W of power at nominal torque, and only 0.2W when at rest. The actuator has a dimensioning of 4VA and comes with a 1m cable with 4x0.75mm2 connections. Parallel connections are also possible, but performance data should be noted.
The actuator has a minimum torque of 20Nm at nominal voltage, and can be controlled using a DC 0-10V signal with a typical input impedance of 100kΩ. The operating range for the control signal is DC 2-10V. Position feedback is also available, with a maximum current of 1mA and an accuracy of ±5%. Manual overrides are possible with the gearing latch disengaged by a pushbutton, which can be temporary or permanent.
The running time for the actuator is ≤90s/90°, and it has a noise level of max 45dB(A) (without the valve). Position indication is mechanical and integral. The actuator is designed with safety in mind, with a protection class of III and extra low voltage, as well as a degree of protection of IP54 in any mounting position. It also meets EMC standards according to 89/336/EEC.
The actuator has a mode of operation of Type 1 (to EN 60730-1) and a rated impulse voltage of 0.8kV (to EN 60730-1). It can function in environments with control pollution degree 3 (to EN 60730-1) and temperatures ranging from 0-50°C. Media temperature can range from +5-100°C in control ball valves, and -10°C with stem heating upon request. Non-operating temperature range is -40-80°C and it can function in environments with 95% r.h., non-condensating.
Maintenance for the actuator is minimal and it is maintenance-free. The weight of the actuator is approximately 1000g.
