The Belimo SM24A-MOD is a type of Actuator used in HVAC and ventilation systems.
This kind of Actuator rotates the damper in order to control it.
The force applied by the Torque of the SM24A-MOD is 20 Nm.
This Rotary Actuator needs to be supported by a power supply of 24Vac/Vdc.
Find at IACS the ideal Belimo Actuator compatible with your system at the best price.

The Belimo SM24A-MOD is a damper actuator used to modify air dampers in ventilation and air-conditioning systems.
A rotational motion is generated by this sort of actuator.
The SM24A-MOD has a modulating type of control.
The Torque force is 20 Nm.
Mode of operation: The actuator is fitted with an integrated interface for Modbus RTU, it receives the digital positioning signal from the Modbus-Master and returns the current status.
Converter for sensors: Connection option for a sensor (passive or active sensor or switching contact). In this way, the analogue sensor signal can be easily digitised and transferred to Modbus.
Parameterisable actuators: The factory settings cover the most common applications. Single parameters can be modified with the Belimo Service Tools MFT-P or ZTH EU. The Modbus communication parameters (address, baud rate etc.) are set with the ZTH EU. Pressing push-button “Service” on the actuator while connecting the supply voltage resets the communication parameters to the factory setting. Quick addressing: The Modbus address can alternatively be set using push-buttons on the actuator from 1 to 16. The value selected is added to the «Basic address» parameter and results in the effective Modbus address. For example, with a basic address of 140, Modbus addresses between 141 and 156 can be parameterised using quick addressing.
Simple direct mounting: Simple direct mounting on the damper spindle with an universal spindle clamp, supplied with an anti-rotation device to prevent the actuator from rotating.
Manual override: Manual override with push-button possible (the gear is disengaged for as long as the button is pressed or remains locked).
High functional reliability: The actuator is overload protected, requires no limit switches and automatically stops when the end stop is reached.
Adjustable angle of rotation: Adjustable angle of rotation with mechanical end stops.
Home position The first time the supply voltage is switched on, i.e. at the time of commissioning, the actuator carries out a synchronisation. The synchronisation is in the home position (0%). The actuator then moves into the position defined by the positioning signal.
Adaption and synchronisation: An adaption can be triggered manually by pressing the “Adaption” button or with the PC-Tool. Both mechanical end stops are detected during the adaption (entire setting range). Automatic synchronisation after pressing the gearbox disengagement button is configured. The synchronisation is in the home position (0%). The actuator then moves into the position defined by the positioning signal. A range of settings can be adapted using the PC-Tool (see MFT-P documentation)
